So... former Vice President Al Gore and the UN panel for climate change have been jointly awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. This is after a British court concluded that his documentary, An Inconvenient Truth, has at least nine errors in it.
It's an embarrassment to the United States, in my opinion.
Environmentalists and terrorists -- those are the people who win Nobel Peace Prizes these days. The worth of the Nobel Peace Prize has become greatly reduced in my eyes.
Comments anyone?

He was awarded for his effort in the battle against climate change, not solely for An Inconvenient Truth, so the amount of errors in the documentary didn't really matter. Besides that, I do agree that it's kind of odd that he receives the Noble Prize of Peace for this. I don't see the connection between his documentary or effort and the world peace.
Yet, you shouldn't see this as an embarrassment -- Honestly, to the outside world it finally gives the USA some credit again. Or atleast Al Gore.
